Police hunting driver who fled scene of nasty crash
An unknown driver is on the run in Wiltshire after fleeing the scene of a nasty-looking crash.
Wiltshire Specials officers attended the scene of the crash on Silver Street, Gastard, near Corsham, involving two vehicles at about 2.15pm on Friday, March 17.
At the scene, a dark blue Toyota truck had been almost completely shunted off of the road by a silver Volkswagen SUV in what appears to have been a head-on collision.
Debris could be seen strewn all over the road, including one of the truck's windows, and the fronts of both of the vehicles were heavily damaged.
It seems that everyone involved in the nasty-looking smash managed to escape without serious injury, but police have confirmed that a manhunt is now underway.
