Plane draws giant Christmas tree in the sky
An Airbus flight recently came up with a novel way to mark the festive holiday season by drawing a Christmas tree which could be seen on flight radar sites.

The test flight had no passengers on board. It took off from Hamburg Airport in Germany and returned to the same city.

During the flight of the A380 flown by Emirates, the aircraft made circular manoeuvres at more than 40,000ft to create baubles and zig-zags to recreate the shape of the tree.
The flight passed Cologne, Frankfurt and Stuttgart along the way.
