This pizza is made from 111 different cheeses
If you're the kind of pizza orderer who always looks for the option with the most amount of cheese on it, then you're going to want to book a ticket to Germany asap.
A Berlin-based pizza restaurant has just picked up a Guinness World Record for their creation of the 'greatest variety of cheese on a pizza'. That sounds like a meal we could get on board with.
Considering we're used to the quatre fromage, you'd expect maybe that the cheesiest pizza in the world has two times, three times, four times the amount of cheese? But in reality, this beast of a pizza has exactly 111 different kinds of cheeses all on one pizza base.
Who knew there even were 111 cheeses in the world?
Of course it contains all the big names such as mozzarella, Emmental, Leicestershire red, Comté and Raclette de Chèvre, as well as loads (106) others.
The chef managed to fit all this cheesey goodness on just one normal size pizza by measuring out the amounts exactly. He places just 2.6grams of each cheese on the pie, meaning that in total it weighed 288.6g.
Sure, this kind of cheese overload is unlikely to be good for you, but really, WHO CARES?! We're hungry for a slice right now.
