Pinterest has unveiled this year's most popular wedding trends - from the most searched-for dresses to the desire for a more sustainable walk down the aisle.
So whether you're planning to get hitched this year or just can't stop adding to that 'Dream Wedding' Pinterest board, check out the most talked-about wedding trends of 2019.
Eloping and destination weddings
According to Pinterest, searches for more intimate, budget-friendly wedding ideas have increased by 80% this year, with more and more couples opting to elope.
Search for elopement photography has also shot up by 128% in comparison to 2018, as soon-to-be newlyweds hope to capture their spontaneous nuptials on camera.
Destination weddings set against unique backdrops have also increased, with more couples saying "I do" in the mountains (search has shot up by 32%). Other popular elopement destinations include city halls, forests and beaches.
The most sought-after locations? Maui in Hawaii and Switzerland came out on top - dreamy.
A more sustainable ceremony
According to Pinterest, millennials and Gen Z are more interested in sustainability than people over the age of 38. So it's not a surprise to see searches for sustainable wedding ideas up 181%.
A growing number of Pinterest users are also eschewing the traditional church, hoping to host their big day anywhere from their favourite beach spot to a neighbour's back garden.

From full-on froth fit for a fairy tale to cool girl jumpsuits, every bride has their dream wedding look in mind.

In Germany, Pinterest reports that the most searched-for term is "wedding dress for the registry office". We're see you there, then.
The Australian bride-to-be is on the hunt for something minimal, with "simple wedding dress" coming out as the top search.
But what about here in the UK? Well, the most popular search term is "beach wedding dress", leaving all us guests in the dark as to what kind of shoes we're supposed to wear for a sandy wedding.
