If Pinkster's 3L boxes of gin weren't enough of a gift to us all this summer, the brand has just announced two delicious sounding spritzes made with the gin-soaked raspberries left over from making Pinkster's iconic Pink gin.

To be honest those raspberries sound like something we'd like to eat with a spoon, but these new spritz bases are also a great way to put them to use, complimented with hibiscus in one expression and elderflower in the other.

The 24% ABV drinks are designed to be the ideal base for light and refreshing spritzes, which have really taken over as the summer tipple of choice these past few years, with their thirst-quenching freshness and forgiving alcohol content.

The Elderflower & Raspberry spritz is crafted using foraged wild elderflower from the local East Anglian hedgerows, while the Raspberry & Hibiscus is infused with exotic hibiscus flowers.

The recommended serve from Pinkster is over heaps of ice topped up with soda, particularly Fever-Tree’s Mexican Lime Soda, finished with a fresh lime garnish.

Stephen Marsh, Pinkster’s managing director said in the press release: "With the UK emerging out of lockdown and easing into summer, we’re expecting our fresh, fizzy and fun spritz to be the drink of the season as friends reunite for alfresco get-togethers. Thanks to the reduced alcohol this is guilt-free kicking back.

"It’s been some time in the making and as you’d expect from us, this is another authentically subtle drink that’s sustainably sound and made with natural ingredients, including our signature real raspberries grown minutes away from our rural Cambridgeshire HQ."

You don't need to convince us, we'll take one of each.

Pinkster Spritz is available online from Master of Malt and RRP: £28.00 for 70 cl / £5.00 for 5 cl
