Piers Morgan is back! His controversial exit from ITV’s Good Morning Britain after a clash with weatherman Alex Beresford over Meghan Markle saw Morgan storm off set, but now he's returning with a brand new show - Piers Morgan Uncensored.

The spat followed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey in which the Duchess of Sussex said that there were conversations about how dark Archie’s skin colour would be and how she felt trapped as a royal. Morgan controversially disputed Markle’s comments, saying: "I’m sorry, I don’t believe a word she says."

Despite over 50,000 Ofcom complaints, Morgan was cleared of any wrong doing as the media regulator concluded that this would be a "chilling restriction" in regards to free speech, although they raised concerns in terms of taking suicide claims more seriously as Morgan disregarded the Duchess’ claims.

This week has seen Morgan hit the headlines again for another TV storm out - this time by Donald Trump, who was his first interviewee for his new TalkTV show.

Here's all you need to know about Piers Morgan Uncensored.

When does Piers Morgan Uncensored start?

Morgan will now appear on our television screens on Monday, 25 April 2022 at 8pm on his brand new show Piers Morgan Uncensored.

The show is part of media tycoon Rupert Murdoch’s ever-growing empire, TalkTV, a new television channel being broadcast in the UK - as well on Sky News Australia and Fox Nation in the US.

Morgan’s first guest is former US President and his ex-Celebrity Apprentice boss Donald Trump in what the show describes as "the most explosive interview of the year".

The trailer appears to show Trump storm out of the interview, although an audio tape released by the former president appears to refute those claims.

Either way, the trailer alone has sparked so much discussion that Morgan has already managed to make Uncensored a must-watch show.

How can I watch TalkTV in the UK?

The station launches on Monday, 25th April 2022 at 7pm - just an hour before Morgan's debut - and there are various ways to watch for free.

Uncensored will appear on Sky 526, Virgin Media 627, Freeview 237, Freest 217. It will also appear on the TalkTV YouTube page and the TalkTV website.

There is also an option to watch it on smart devices through Apple TV, Samsung TV plus and Amazon Fire TV.

What has Piers Morgan said about his new show?

Morgan claims the show's main purpose is to "cancel the cancel culture which has infected societies around the world" in a promo for Uncensored which begins with him watching his own GMB walk out.

He also says he was "forced to leave a job that I loved" for expressing an opinion.

The broadcaster said he wanted it to be "a platform for lively, vigorous debate, newsmaking interviews and that increasingly taboo three-letter word, fun."

Morgan added: "I also want it to annoy all the right people."
