Piers Morgan has had his COVID booster and says anyone who wants to abuse him about it can “**** off*.

The former Good Morning Britain star shared a picture on Twitter and Instagram of him in a mask and clutching a card saying he’d had the Pfizer jab and captioned it: “BOOSTED!

“Thanks to everyone at St Charles Care Centre in North Kensington for splendidly efficient and rapid service today!” he went on.

“Loads of people pouring in to get their jabs which was great to see.”

Morgan, 56, added a string of emojis including one of a syringe and a thumbs up, and added: “PS memo to anti-vaxxers who now want to abuse me: **** off.”

Fans responded by posting messages online saying it was “great news”.

“Good on you,” said one.

“Well done, had my booster today too,” said another.

The TV star tested tested positive for the coronavirus in July and has said he believes he caught it at Wembley during the Euros 2020 final.

He recently revealed that he is still dealing with the "irritations of long COVID" and still couldn't taste fine wine weeks after battling the virus.

“Of all the many irritations of long COVID, not least me banging on about it, an ongoing inability (15 weeks after infection) to taste good wine and regular coffee is the worst,” he wrote.

When someone remarked that he could save plenty of money by drinking bad wine for now, Morgan quipped: “On balance, I’d rather die.”
