Images of Lady Gaga feeding co-star Adam Driver on the set of House of Gucci went viral as fans anticipate the release of the crime biopic based on the Gucci family dynasty.

Gaga plays Italian socialite and former Gucci heiress Patrizia Reggiani, who was convicted of plotting the assassination of ex-husband, and grandson of Gucci founder Guccio Gucci, Maurizio Gucci, played by Driver.

The star could be seen feeding a pastry to the actor in the photos taken on set in Milan, before she dabbed his mouth with a napkin.

House of Gucci is being directed by Ridley Scott and adapted from the 2001 non-fiction book House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara G Forden.

Maurizio Gucci was shot four times outside his office in Milan in 1995 by a hitman, with Reggiani being sentenced to 29 years in prison for his murder in 1998. During the trial, it emerged that Reggiani had hired four accomplices to carry out the killing. She served 16 years before being released from jail in 2014.

The movie marks Gaga's welcome return to the big screen following the huge success of A Star is Born, for which she was Oscar-nominated for Best Actress in 2019. She won an Academy Award for Best Original Song with Shallow. Gaga starred alongside Bradley Cooper.

The film is due to be released on Thanksgiving this year.
