Today (19th March) marks the first day of meteorological spring in the northern hemisphere – and that means our streets, parks and Instagram feeds are awash with colour as daffodils, snowdrops and cherry blossom come to life.
With many people stuck inside self-isolating due to coronavirus, or simply busy working from home, we thought we'd share some of the best photos of spring we've seen over on Instagram.
From the streets of London to the woodlands of Slovakia and Holland's tulip fields, mother nature is putting on one of her most colourful displays as winter gives way to spring. And let's not forget that hopefully means some spring sunshine flooding through our windows.
