From Japan's cherry blossom trees to Holland's tulips, spring has arrived in the northern hemisphere
Today (19th March) marks the first day of meteorological spring in the northern hemisphere – and that means our streets, parks and Instagram feeds are awash with colour as daffodils, snowdrops and cherry blossom come to life.

From the streets of London to the woodlands of Slovakia and Holland's tulip fields, mother nature is putting on one of her most colourful displays as winter gives way to spring. And let's not forget that hopefully means some spring sunshine flooding through our windows.
Take five minutes and enjoy these soothing and uplifting shots of spring, because we could all do with a little pick-me-up right now.
