PHOTOS: India shuts down as citizens observe 'Janata Curfew'

On Sunday, March 22, India woke up to empty streets, shuttered shops and curtailed public transport as over a billion citizens began a self-imposed ‘Janata Curfew’ from 7 am to 9 pm to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
