This time last year we were mere weeks away from meeting Daphne Bridgerton (played by Phoebe Dynevor) for the first time. To refresh your memory, the leading lady in Netflix's Bridgerton served us peak Regency fashion goodness, characterised by empire-waist gowns, puffed sleeves, lace details and lashings of incredible jewels. Since Bridgerton's hit debut, Phoebe has become a London fashion scene mainstay, stepping out at high profile events and red carpets in verrry on-trend outfits.

While both Phoebe and Daphne's wardrobes are undeniably chic, Phoebe's personal style is a departure from her on-screen counterparts, which is not totally surprising considering they are technically separated by 200 years (lol). But, as it turns out, Phoebe's latest look is actually giving us major 2021 Daphne vibes.

Overnight, the actor attended the Instyle Awards in Los Angeles wearing a mint green knee-length dress featuring multiple nods to vintage glam, interspersed with more modern trends. For starters, the intricate lace trim detailing around the neckline and bow details on either shoulder look worthy of a period drama, while the plunging element adds a 2021 spin to the style.

As for the skirt, the layered detailing, full silhouette and lace trim hem also give us throwback fashion feels - imagine how incredible a dancefloor twirl would be wearing this dress. But, like the neckline, the dress is offset once more with modern flourishes, like the shorter hemline and backless design.

Beauty-wise, Phoebe went for a fresh, glowy look, with strawberry-toned lipstick, full brows, a subtle cateye and her hair tucked behind the ears with soft curls at the ends.

Um, is anyone else like REALLY here for this Phoebe-meet-Daphne fashion mood? 'Cos I, for one, totally am.
