Phoebe Dynevor and Pete Davidson have reportedly split after six months
While Phoebe Dynevor and Pete Davidson are definitely one of the more unexpected celebrity romances of 2021, they're already proving to be serious couple goals. Here's a look back on what we know so far about Phoebe and Pete's dating history, starting with the most recent update:
16th August 2021: Bad news, Pete and Phoebe fans: the pair have reportedly split after struggling to make it work long distance. Say it ain't so! According to a new report from The Sun, the pair have decided to go their separate ways after six months together.
The insider explained, "Pete and Phoebe’s romance was a real whirlwind and from the start they were both totally committed. But as time has passed, it’s become increasingly obvious it is going to be difficult to make this work.
"It was wild while it lasted and they both really care for each other. But the distance has put a strain on them. Their mates think they make a great couple but the distance has made it completely unworkable. They had fun and will remain close but unless something drastic changes their relationship won’t recover."

9th February 2021: Phoebe visited New York, where Pete lives, in February. She posted photos of Brooklyn to Instagram with the caption, “Grateful I got to be here for a hot sec,” adding a heart emoji. Sources later claim she met Pete at an afterparty following Bridgerton co-star Rege-Jean Page hosting Saturday Night Live, which would make sense considering that's where Pete works.
20 March 2021: Davidson was spotted in Altrincham, Greater Manchester by a fan who posted a picture of the SNL actor on the Altrincham HQ Facebook page with the caption, "Bizarre Altrincham spot of the day. Pete Davidson in the market quarter… he’s staying over in Altrincham with friends." This led to speculation that he was visiting Phoebe as she was then living in Manchester with her mum, actor Sally Dynevor, who lives in Manchester.
25 March 2021: Page Six reports that Pete and Phoebe were spotted “holding hands and hugging each other” in Caverswall, Staffordshire by a 14-year-old girl who said, "they walked past our house and I recognised him immediately … I hadn’t seen anything written about Pete being in a relationship with Phoebe, but once I saw them together I thought, ‘Maybe they are?’” The fan then asked for a selfie with Pete, telling Page Six:
“He seemed quite happy and didn’t mind me taking a picture with him. I didn’t ask for a picture with Phoebe because at the time I didn’t know who she was. My sister, who also saw them but didn’t come with me to catch up with them, told me when I got back home.”
5 April 2021: Us Weekly report that the pair are currently making things work long-distance, with her in the UK and him in the US.
"Pete and Phoebe are still going strong despite not being able to physically spend time together," a source said, adding, "They keep in touch over text and FaceTime. Right now, they’re just focused on work. … They’re not looking to rush things."
13 April 2021: Pete appears to confirm that he is dating Phoebe. During a virtual talk with students from Marquette University, Davidson was asked about his celebrity crush. He answered, "I'm with my celebrity crush," adding, "That's all I can speak on."
16 April 2021: Eagle-eyed fans spot that Pete and Phoebe appear to wear the same necklace at separate public appearances. The necklace, which sported both actors' initials "PD", was worn by Davidson during an interview on The Tonight Show on 6 April, and
Sporting the letters "PD" (which happen to be both actors' initials), the necklace was worn by Davidson during his April 6 interview on The Tonight Show, while Dynevor was spotted wearing it during a YouTube appearance.
21 April 2021: PEOPLE report that Pete and Phoebe are officially together. A source reportedly confirmed that the pair are "really into each other," adding that, "Pete is telling friends he's serious about her."

23 April 2021: A source has told PEOPLE that the Saturday Night Live comedian is currently visiting Phoebe in London (April 24) two months after the pair were first linked. Is it meet the family time already? Eek.
7th May 2021:
Pete Davidson is pretty well known for his relationships with high profile celebrities, from Ariana Grande to Kate Beckinsale. And now that he and Phoebe Dynevor has been together a few months he revealed the one thing that's key to all his relationships.
"I am just very, very honest," he told The Breakfast Club. "I think what a lot of people do is they try to put on — not even their best self — but like, almost a version of themself that they would like to be. And then eventually, that will unravel, you know?
"So, I just, off the top, I'm like, 'Hey, I'm nuts. Here's all my issues, here's what I do, here's the therapists. This is what happens.' And that can either be a lot for someone or they could be like, 'Cool, that was really refreshingly honest.' Or, sometimes it can be a little intense and weird and people can't handle that stuff," he added.
He also explained that he isn't into "playing any of the games" and values communication in his relationships.
"... if I'm into you, I'm really into you. It just creates this whole anxiety and a lot of stress, and there's enough of that going on... It should be so easy. It should just be like, 'Hey, there's something wrong today.' 'Hey, I'm really happy today.' Communication is really key."
July 3 2021: While these two have been rumoured to be together since February we have yet to actually see much evidence of them together. Well, finally the pair made their first public outing over the weekend and looked absolutely smitten with each other as they PDA-ed to their hearts' content at Wimbledon.
Wearing coordinated (but definitely not matching) green outfits the pair laughed and kissed as they shared a small bottle of champagne and watched the tennis, and luckily for us 'Phoete' (work-in-progress) stans it was all caught on camera.
