Peter Andre and Katie Price shared their pride after their son Junior Andre performed his debut single for the first time on Wednesday.

Following in his dad's popstar footsteps, 17-year-old Junior is carving out a career in music after signing to Columbia Records last summer.

He's been teasing his first song, titled Slide, and finally got to perform it live at an event on Wednesday night.

Peter, who enjoyed chart success in the '90s, was in the crowd to cheer on his eldest son, and posted multiple videos to his Instagram Stories.

Uploading clips of Junior belting out Slide in a red tracksuit he wrote: "Well done tonight son."

Over another video of the pair hugging, he stated, "You have no idea how proud I am of you tonight son", and alongside a third, he wrote: "Born to do it (heart emoji)."

Katie, who didn't appear to be at the event, shared a video uploaded by her sister Sophie, who was there, and told her millions of followers: "So proud of my son officialjunior_andre (heart)."

Katie and Peter's daughter Princess, 14, caught the show, while their younger half-siblings Jett, eight, and seven-year-old Bunny, who Katie shares with ex-husband Kieran Hayler, sang along to Slide's lyrics in cute videos uploaded by Katie before they went to school on Thursday morning.

"This is for you Junior... I spy with my two eyes something beginning with B," they both sang in separate videos.

The single drops on Friday.
