Pete Davidson On His One Major Dating Dealbreaker
From Ariana Grande to Phoebe Dynevor, and possibly even Kim Kardashian, it's safe to say that Pete Davidson's dating track record is pretty up there. Given his star-studded line up of exes, we've been wondering, what's it like to date the comedian?
Thankfully, we didn't have to wonder too long, as the 27-year-old recently answered that very same question. Appearing on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast, Pete opened up about the kind of dates he takes his potential partners on. And as it turns out, he's quite the sweetheart, pointing out how he always wants to make the evening worthwhile, even if he's a 'sh*t date'.
'If you go to a great restaurant and even if I'm a sh*t date, it's like, at least the food was great,' the Saturday Night Live star joked, adding 'So like, she could go home and be like, "Well...you paid and I ate".'
He continued: 'But yeah, I always found it to be that [dinner] or a movie is so easy because a movie, you don't even have to talk. You could just be like, "Whoa, explosion. Did you see that explosion?" They'd be like, "Yeah!" You know? Or you could just laugh at the same thing and you could just look at each other for a second.'
But, there's one thing Pete definitely won't tolerate on a first date, in fact, it's quite the dating dealbreaker. Having worked in the restaurant business before making his big break in the comedy world, Pete admitted that treating wait staff poorly is a big no-no in his book.
'Immediately would [be over]. In my head I would be like "Okay never [again], this is it".' he said of the dating faux pas.
We wonder what he thinks of Ariana, Phoebe and Kim's table manners then...
