Edinburgh Gin's new personalisation service allows you to swap out the EG on its classic labels to create a personalised bottle of the brand's limited edition Valentine's Day gin. Perfect for Valentine's and Galentine's day, the thoughtful gift is sure to lift the spirits of those you can't see or those at home you want to treat.

You can choose 2-3 characters, including '<3' for a heart and the '&' symbol. Meaning you have so many romantic options to choose from; you can put each of your initials with an '&', like : 'T&P'; or with a <3, like: 'E❤️D'; or you can get their initials on the bottle, monogrammed just for them.

You can even keep the bottle to use as a candlestick afterwards, it would be so pretty with red and pink wax melting down the sides.

The personalised bottles will be available to order between 29 January and 9 February to arrive in time 14 February.

Costing £36, The blushing rosey coloured gin is light and aromatic, inspired by St Valentine's Day: "From the sweet scent of a rose bouquet to the gentle blush of the spirit in the bottle."

David Wilkinson, Edinburgh Gin's Head Distiller at Ian Macleod Distillers, said in the press release: "Valentine’s Gin has been designed to capture the romance of Valentine’s Day in a bottle. Made using fresh rose petals, bright red hibiscus, and sweet, herbal elderflower. This limited-edition gin is our annual celebration of the season of love."

The makers say chamomile, lemongrass and Kaffir lime leaf match the floral flavours with a light citrus freshness, pink peppercorns add a perfumed spice, finished with a silky-smooth sweetness from bee-pollen.

It sounds delicious.
