Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards just posted an adorable anniversary tribute to her footballer partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, with whom she recently welcomed her first child, a little boy named Axel.

The couple have been together for five years now and to celebrate, Perrie shared a throwback shot of them on a boat out at sea, overlooking a pretty stunning landscape. In the picture, Alex has his arm around Perrie and the pair are sharing a kiss.

Captioning the photo, Perrie wrote: "Happy 5 years of love to my baby Daddy! ♥️"

Her 13 million followers, including fellow bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who also recently became a mother for the first time, were quick to share their congratulations to the couple in the comments section.

"This 🥺❤️😍," wrote Leigh-Anne, whilst another social media user said, "HAPPY 5 YEARS!!!! SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS ❤️❤️❤️"

In reference to the team that Alex plays for as a midfielder, another commented, "I swear I’m sooo invested in this couple I became a Liverpool fan😩😍"

Reports that Perrie and Alex were together first began circulating all the way back in 2016 when she was spotted in the crowd at an Arsenal match (who Alex played for at the time). Around the same time, it was also reported that the footballer went to support the singer at The X Factor when Little Mix were performing. An insider told Sun Online: "Alex is clearly smitten with Perrie and he looked like he loved the girls' performance. He didn’t take his eyes off her throughout the entire thing and he didn’t stop smiling."

As well as baby Axel, the couple also share an adorable French Bulldog called Travis.

Congratulations on your five year anniversary, Perrie and Alex – here's to many more!
