Perrie Edwards just wore '90s space buns for a trip to the supermarket

It's been a busy few weeks for the Little Mix gals. They finally released their new album, Confetti, weeks after dropping music video teasers for the latest single, Sweet Melody (which included Perrie Edwards with a stunning new feathered fringe).

They then went on to crown boyband Since September the winners of their TV talent show The Search, and host the MTV EMAs (with Jesy Nelson absent due to a mystery illness). And if that wasn't enough, Perrie was forced to jump to the defence of their new album after the lyrics were deemed "too racy" for younger fans.

"We’re mature women," Perrie told the Metro. "We want to talk about naughty things."

Fair point.

Well, it looks like the band are taking some much-needed down-time after a frantic few weeks, and Perrie obviously decided to prioritise the house chores over a Netflix binge (each to their own).

The singer posted a video on her Instagram stories of a trip to the supermarket, and what did she stock up on? Some fresh fruit and veg, perhaps? One of those dupe supermarket candles? A couple of pot noodles for her and Alex? Oh no. She used her time there to "clear the shelves" of the new album, making a special effort with her hair for the occasion.

Her signature long, blonde locks were pulled up into two impressive space buns, with the ends left to hang free behind her ears. She also pulled the front section out to frame her face, the lower half of which was covered by a black mask...

Loving the supermarket hair effort, Perrie. Next time I hit my local Tesco, I pledge to rock a '90s hairstyle in your honour (and clear the shelves of your album).
