But fans have flooded the comments with questions over the authenticity of the video, in fact accusing the actor of pranking them all. SIKE.
The actor posted the video to his 45million followers, which showed him walking through a field in Australia. "Who left the rake here," he wrote in the caption, after the video showed him stepping on the end of it and the handle flipping up towards his body.
And while Zac's hands shot up to his face as if it had hit him, people have been suspicious of the prank in the comments. "It didn’t....hit though 😂" one person wrote, while another questioned, "But it didn’t hit your face?😂"
Another put, "Haha wow you should be an actor" while other comments included:
"It hit your hand why grab the eye 👁"
"I love how ur holding ur face but the rake hit no one near ur face [sic]"
"All those years of acting and this is the best we get 😂😂"
Zac is currently in Australia filming the second series of Down to Earth with Zac Efron. In it, he reunites with wellness expert Darin Olien as the pair travel around Australia in search of sustainable practices and healthy lifestyles, all the while educating and enlightening viewers by exploring local food, custom and culture throughout their journey.
Wholesome, right? Let's hope there's plenty more insights into their pranks to look forward to.
