People On TikTok Are Making Chocolate Covered Skittles And We Are So Here For It
How good are Skittles? There’s just something about Skittles sweets that makes them one of our favourite things to pick up in a corner shop/cinema/supermarket.
They’re perfect as they are, but have you ever wondered if there was a way of making them even more amazing? Because this woman on TikTok did wonder that, so came up with a way… by covering them in chocolate!
And the best part is, it’s so easy, anyone can do it at home!
We first saw that chocolate covered Skittles were a thing when we came across @boss.blondi’s TikTok, which shows just how easy it is. All you need is Skittles (obvs), melted chocolate and one of those rainbow pop fidget toys we keep seeing on sale everywhere we go.
First, @boss.blondi pours a bag of Skittles on to the pop fidget toy and makes sure there’s a Skittle in each hole. Then it’s chocolate time! She pours melted milk chocolate (but God, how good would white chocolate be?!) all over the Skittles making sure each one is well covered. Then into the freezer the whole thing goes for around 30 minutes. Once it comes out of the freezer, you just have to break the chocolate apart so you have a load of individual chocolate covered Skittles? Or just keep it as a Skittle stuffed chocolate bar? Both are great options, let’s be honest.
