The 29-year-old announced she was leaving Little Mix in December 2020, and has dropped several tantalising hints about new solo projects across her social media. Having already signed a record deal as as a solo artist, Jesy's also accidentally shared a clip of her new music on Instagram.
As well as creating new music, some fans think Jesy's landed a coveted spot as a judge on the next series of the X Factor.
Having been through the entire audition process herself, from live auditions to group selection, Judges Houses to Live Shows, many think Jesy would be perfectly placed to critique and mentor the next season of aspiring pop stars.
It was reported back in March that Jesy was, "at the top of Simon Cowell’s list," for a place on the judging panel. A source told The Sun, "It’s a no brainer for Simon to have someone as successful as Jesy, who the show made, back on the panel."
The source noted that Jesy's first-hand experience of being a pop star could play in her favour, saying, "She knows the ups and downs of the music industry inside out, and what it takes to be a successful popstar.
"Her name has been banded around by Simon and his team as someone who could breathe a bit of new life into the show when it’s back next year."
In addition to her experience as a pop star, Jesy's also had some practice as a judge for Little Mix's talent show, The Search.
Another indicator that she might be in the running is an update to the X Factor's Wikipedia page, in which Jesy is named as a judge for the show's 16th series. However, as Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, we're not reading too much into this one.
As it's all speculation for now, we'll wait for Jesy to have her say.
