It doesn't take much for us get the BBQ on, especially when the weather's been as dreamy as it has this past week. But in most cases it's to cook up burgers, chargrill potatoes or smoke fish... not whip together chocolate-dipped strawberries.
Spotted online via Money Saver by Dansway on Facebook, Home Bargains is selling a Hot Chocolate BBQ Fondue Kit for just £1.49!
Complete with everything you need for a fun fondue at home, this kit comes with a bar of milk chocolate, marshmallows and a foil tray ready for you to top your barbecue with. Then, it's up to you to get hold of any dipping treats you might want (strawberries and bananas are a given).
If a trip to Home Bargains is out of the question, then you'll be pleased to hear that you can pretty easily make your own at home.
That's right, the hashtag #chocolatebbq has over 4.4 million views on social media platform TikTok , and it's filled with snapshots of people hosting their very own chocolate BBQs in their gardens or local parks. All you need is a heatproof foil tray, a barbecue (disposable works just fine) and some treats to dip!
In true BBQ style, we'd create some delicious fruit, brownie and marshmallow kebabs for dipping into all that delicious melty chocolate. Maybe even some American Graham Crackers for a s'mores inspired mouth-full. The possibilities are endless.
