People dub woman's sleeping setup with boyfriend 'weird' - but she says it's 'healthy'
When you hit the hay with your significant other, what's your sleeping setup like?
It's widely accepted that couples tend to share a bed, enduring one another's snoring and restlessness for the sake of love, isn't it? Yet, some duos are now choosing personal comfort over conventional coupledom by opting for separate bedrooms in their shared abode. A woman on TikTok recently flaunted her and her boyfriend's unconventional sleeping quarters.
TikTokers @kacieandchristian wrote over the top of the nine-second clip: "Point of view: You and your boyfriend live together but have separate rooms".

She captioned the video saying that she would "10/10 recommend" the sleeping situation that they'd adopted. Kacie showed off her adorable Hello Kitty-adorned bedroom, complete with a huge white dream catcher, a Hello Kitty plush cushion, and plenty of pink accessories - but it was incredibly tidy and quite minimalistic.
She then walked down the stairs to Christian's room, which was significantly more jam-packed with stuff, and was quite a lot more messy than Kacie's.
The colour scheme was a lot more drab and plain than his girlfriend's, and the clothes rail was messy and full of items.
In the comments, people were left wondering how their "love life" is if they sleep separately.
Someone wrote: "I support people who do this, but in my opinion, I could never do this. I need the comfort of my partner to sleep. Plus, we can still have space but sleep together in the same room". Another added: "Omg I do this and I thought that we were weird".
A woman supported sleeping separately, saying: "Yesss, we have separate beds and it made sleeping so much better! His snoring is SO LOUD, I still need to put white noise on to drown it out, and he also flops around like a fish, so between those two, I got no sleep; I don't understand why people are so offended over this".
"I feel like this is such a healthy thing to do," someone chimed in.
