Amanda Holden trolled for Britain's Got Talent final dress

Another day, another celebrity getting trolled for their outfit choice.

This time it’s Amanda Holden facing the wrath of the fashion police.

Dressed in a plunging black dress by Ali Karoui, the television judge pulled out all the stops for last night’s final of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.

But while many praised the 47-year-old for her glamorous look, some viewers seemed to struggle to accept that women can dress as sexily as they like, no matter their age.

Predictably, social media feeds were littered with suggestions for the TV personality to “put her boobs away”, while others criticised Amanda’s hair extensions.

“Put ur s*** tits away Amanda, I’m having me tea,” one viewer tweeted.

“Can Amanda stop flashing her boobs please? This is meant to be a talent show, not a porn show,” another added.

But the comments weren’t all critical and some fans were keen to step in and praise the judge for her daring outfit choice.

“Amanda Holden looks fire tonight,” one user posted on Twitter.

“Amanda Holden looks stunning tonight,” another added.

Others pointed out that the criticism could be seen as sexist considering no one seemed to have a problem with the show’s ‘Magic Mike’ style strip performance.

“For all you lot that have been moaning about Amanda’s boobs tonight saying “her dress is not suitable for a family show” where are your scathing comments for the 30 half naked MALE strippers on the stage? No? Nothing? Thought not…..,” one viewer tweeted.

Despite the fact that Alesha Dixon was flashing just as much flesh as her fellow judge in a short, gold and black Julien Macdonald frock, she didn’t receive nearly as much attention.

It isn’t the first time this week Amanda Holden has divided people with her sartorial choice.

The TV judge was also trolled over the short, peek-a-boo, mesh dress she wore last week by some viewers who called it inappropriate.

“Why does Amanda Holden think she’s still in her 20s??? Mutton dressed as lamb‍♀️ #BGT,” one viewer wrote.

“What is Amanda Holden’s problem with clothes? It’s 7:30pm. There are children watching #BGT.”

The backlash comes almost a year after one of Amanda’s BGT dresses received 663 complaints to Ofcom, making it the most complained about thing on TV in 2017.

Despite looking stunning in the £11,250 Julien Macdonald gown, many felt the outfit was too low-cut for a family show.

Thankfully, Amanda seems pretty non-fussed about the reaction to her body-skimming outfits.

Speaking to The Sun before BGT began last year she said: “I can’t wait to wear my dresses. They are very flattering and feminine and a few are… what you would expect. Will people be complaining to Ofcom? I hope so. I really do. I haven’t done my job if they aren’t.”
