In December Sophie confirmed that she had contracted COVID-19 and had been hospitalised as a result, revealing that she had been suffering from "quite the feast of festive ailments".

Thankfully she made a full recovery, later thanking her followers for their "lovely" messages and saying that she was "feeling much better".

Sophie will be back as the only Shelby sister in Peaky Blinders' sixth and final season, which is currently filming.
