We might be some way away from Peaky Blinders season six, but we're slowly getting more and more reveals as to who's going to be orbiting the Shelby clan in the grand finale.

So far we've had the announcements of three new arrivals to the cobblestones of Olde Birmingham Towne. But who are they? We've profiled them here for you.

Conrad Khan

Who is he? He's a 21-year-old nominee for this year's Bafta Rising Star award, and that's a particularly crowded field this year. You might have seen him already in County Lines, the Black Mirror episode 'Smithereens' and The Huntsman: Winter's War.

Who's he playing? No idea. There's a big streetwise urchin vibe to his portrait there, but other than that we've got no intel as yet.

Good or evil? Again, no idea. But Khan did tell Esquire when we spoke to him recently that his character has a scar on the side of his head, so. Do what you want with that.

Amber Anderson

Who is she? She's another Black Mirror alumnus, having turned up in 'The Waldo Moment', and was in the BBC's adaptation of Strike. On the big screen, she was Jane Fairfax in that Anya Taylor-Joy update of Emma. a couple of years ago.

Who's she playing? There's no name as yet, but it's not a gigantic leap to assume that director Anthony Byrne was talking about this role when he started telling Digital Spy about "a great female character who is new, who is pretty dark".

"I haven't seen a character like her in Peaky before," he said. "I won't say who she is, but she certainly gives Tommy a run for his money. She challenges him in a different way basically. She's certainly not a protagonist and I don't know if she's an antagonist."

Good or evil? Byrne clearly hadn't made his mind up at that time, but if you read between the lines there's a definite villain vibe to her: "It's similar to [Oswald] Mosley… she has a similar ideology, and that's challenging for any character, like I've said before… they don't have guns or a gang, but they have an ideology that's like a virus and it's more dangerous than anything."

Clearly Anderson's role is important, given she was the first new actor announced for season six, so it'd make sense if she was this clearly important character.

Who is he? A 29-year-old Aussie whose breakout role was in the crime drama Animal Kingdom back in 2010. Since then he's popped up opposite Pierce Brosnan in the techno-thriller IT and the BBC's Welsh supernatural spooker Requiem.

Who's he playing? Some kind of business guy. Look, he's wearing a suit and considering a whisky.

Good or evil? Based on the angle of that meaningful lean, we're going to take a punt on evil. He does tend to play apparently not evil guys who turn out to be more evil than you first through, so bear that in mind.
