Our obsession with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Phoebe Bridgers and Paul Mescal knows no bounds, so imagine our sheer DELIGHT when they collaborated on her latest music video.

Seriously, Paul Mescal, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Phoebe Bridgers. DO YOU HEAR WHAT WE'RE SAYING?

For Phoebe's latest single, 'Saviour Complex', Paul from Normal People plays a man on the run who is haunted by a cute little dog named Charlotte, who follows him everywhere he goes - and eventually appears on the beach with Phoebe wearing a cap.

Paul steals a man's car, heads to a hotel where he peels off his fake injuries and continues to be followed by the little dog. It's Phoebe Waller-Bridge from Fleabag's music video directoral debut, and she and singer Phoebe first came up with the music video concept after they connected over email while in quarantine (according to their press release.)

Sharing the project on Instagram, Paul wrote, "I’m sure there is a joke somewhere about this actually being the two most powerful Phoebe’s on the planet but I’m not witty enough to find it. Working with your heroes is cool but Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Phoebe Bridgers are cooler. Thank you @_fake_nudes_ for letting me be in this 🙏"

As for Paul's connection to the project? Well, he and Phoebe Bridgers were actually rumoured to be dating in July when Metro suggested Los Angeles-based Phoebe had casually jetted across the world to have brunch with Paul in a cafe in Kinsale, Ireland. And while no photo receipts emerged, the cafe tweeted that the pair had stopped by and were 'amazing talented young people.'

The 25-year old singer made no secret of the fact she'd watched Normal People, calling 24-year-old Paul a 'cute boy' in a June NME interview, before revealing 'I got a little pitter-patter in my heart when I saw' he'd followed her on Instagram.

Could they be dating? Could they just be collaborating on the video? Either way, we're into it.
