Paul Hollywood and wife Alexandra granted divorce on grounds of adultery in quickie court hearing
Paul Hollywood and his wife Alexandra have been granted a divorce decree on the ground of adultery, in a court hearing that reportedly lasted less than a minute.
Neither the Great British Bake Off judge or the driving instructor-turned-food writer were there to receive the verdict, reports the Mirror. District Judge Robert Duddridge granted the nisi - which brings them one step closer to finalising their divorce - at the Central Family Court in London on Friday 19 July.
The pair first called time on their marriage in 2013, when it emerged that Hollywood had been having an affair with American chef Marcela Valladolid while filming the US version of Bake Off in the States.

A few months later, they reconciled, with Alexandra recalling that she “wanted to make it work.” But in November 2017, they ended their relationship for good.
“It was over,” Alexandra previously told The Telegraph. “I didn't have to make a decision, that was it. The only decisions for me then were about me son, about my future.
“I mean, that is a lot. Divorce is tough, very tough. You don't expect it, you are in shock, and all of a sudden you are on your own.”
Hollywood, 53, is currently dating 24-year-old barmaid Summer Monteys-Fullam.
It has been reported that he faces a £5 million payout to Alexandra in the wake of their split. Earlier this month, Judge Martin O'Dwyer revealed that a week-long trial to resolve financial remedy proceedings will begin on Monday 22 July.

"No one should underestimate how separation and divorce can hit you,” Alexandra previously told Prima magazine.
"I compare it to a moment where you're driving along the motorway and then the next moment, something beyond your control happens and you're driving in a completely different direction.
"You have to give yourself time to get your head round it."
