A trailer for Paris In Love‘s sophomore run reveals that the hotel heiress kept the news that she was expecting her son Phoenix from everyone, including her family, until after he was born. Hilton also didn’t tell her family about the childhood abuse she endured — as detailed in Paris Hilton: The Memoir — until after the book’s release.

Season 2 of the unscripted series, which will premiere all eight episodes Thursday, Nov. 30 on Peacock, finds Hilton “keeping a life-changing surprise, even from her own family,” per the official synopsis.
“She and her husband welcome their first child in secret as a way to protect him from a media frenzy, which throws her close-knit family for a loop,” the description continues. “As she learns to navigate motherhood and career demands, Paris also drops a bombshell memoir revealing decades of untold traumas, rocking her world and her family once more.”
