Paris Hilton has revealed that she hated sister Nicky Hilton's bridesmaid dress.

During an episode of Peacock's Paris in Love TV show, Hilton shared her dislike for the styles, chosen during a get-together with her closest friends and family.

At the time, she was discussing the Bridesmaid dresses she wanted for her own wedding to venture capitalist husband Carter Reum, and brought up the frocks selected for her younger sister's 2015 nuptials.

'We hated Nicky's bridesmaid dresses' she said, when speaking of the flowing baby blue chiffon gowns designed by New York-based designer Alice + Olivia.

They were worn during her younger sister's lavish wedding, when she married English banking heir James Rothschild at Kensington Palace.

Everyone at the dinner laughed after Hilton's remark.

The heiress, who herself got married during a dreamlike Beverly Hills ceremony at her late grandfather's Bel Air estate in November, said the dresses were 'itchy' and 'uncomfortable'.

During the episode of the show documenting Hilton's love story with Reum, which premiered on the same day they got married (November 11), Hilton, while conceding that she liked the baby blue colour of the dresses, said she wasn't a fan of the overall design.

She even regarded her experience of wearing them as 'brutal'.

The dress in question was cut with a gathered wrap-front top and flowing billowy hem.

There's no denying, though, that Nicky's wedding gown, a Valentino couture dress, reportedly worth £50,000, which resembles that of Paris' own Oscar de la Renta number, was classically divine.

During the dinner shown on the reality show, Hilton, whose lace Oscar de la Renta gown boasted a demure high-neck similar to Nicky's, discussed the details of her desired bridesmaids dresses for her own wedding.

She said she wanted them to be pink, and even thought about choosing a neon hue for the design.

And the heiress also told her loved ones that the CEO and designer Alice + Olivia (the same brand behind Nicky's bridesmaid dresses), Stacey Bendet, would be designing her dresses.

Fast forward to the wedding, the Cooking With Paris star did choose pink designs for her bridal party.

Proving that she doesn't do anything by halves when it comes to her fashion choices, Hilton wore several wedding dresses in addition to her Oscar de la Renta gown.

These included a voluminous shoulder-baring design from Galia Lahav for her first dance and a plunging jewel-embellished Pamela Rowland gown with a beautifully draped cape for dinner.

There was also a sweet floral appliqué mini look with a tutu-shaped skirt, also from Oscar de la Renta, that she teamed with nuanced custom Aquazzura heels, amongst others.

As for her hair, she opted for a classic and graceful up-do that showed off her tulle veil and diamond earrings.

The conclusion we've come to is that, despite small discrepancies in taste, actually favoured a similar aesthetic for their wedding looks, as both opted for lace fairy tale-style wedding gowns with an elegant cut, accessorised with chapel-length veils and upswept hair.
