Paris Hilton just wore this symbolic nail colour for the first photo of her baby
Paris Hilton has taken to Instagram to reveal she's now a mum – and the photo she used to announce her news is too adorable. Sharing a shot of her new baby's tiny fingers wrapped around her own thumb, the icon wrote simply in the caption; "You are already loved beyond words."
Once we were done melting over the tiny newborn's fingernails — well, paused melting — we noticed Paris' own nails. The rounded almond manicure was clean, simple and short, stealing no attention from the precious moment. But painted in a carefully chosen hue of the palest white-blue, the new mum tipped off fans and followers to the baby being a little boy, along with a blue heart emoji in the caption, affirming our suspicions.
Opting for a white-blue over a more traditional baby blue was a chic and minimal choice, but also captured all of the traditional symbolism of the shade, which is connected to innocence, purity and new beginnings. A perfect hue for welcoming a new little angelic bundle of joy into the world.
People magazine later confirmed the tot was a boy, and that the reality star and husband Carter Reum welcomed the newborn via a surrogate, with the heiress telling the magazine: "It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other." She added, "We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy."
