So, parents who had kids later in life, what's it actually like to be an older parent?

Maybe you waited until you were in a more stable financial position before having kids, but people told you that you'd regret waiting so long. But in reality, it was the best decision, and you're in a much better place to take care of your family.

Perhaps there are unique hardships that people don't always talk about. Like, you sometimes compare yourself to younger parents or worry that you won't be around for certain milestones in your child's life.
