Best movie on Paramount Plus in October: Suspiria (October 1)
There's no better time to watch scary movies than in October as we countdown to Halloween. Paramount Plus has a classic one premiering on the streaming service this month in Suspiria. To be clear, this is the original 1977 Suspiria from Italian director Dario Argento, not the 2018 remake from Luca Guadagnino with Tilda Swinton and Dakota Johnson. Please don't overlook it though, as Argento's Suspiria is a fantastically creepy watch about a new ballet dancer who arrives at a German dance academy and begins to notice strange, supernatural things happening.
Some other movies that are worth streaming on Paramount Plus this month include Airplane!, The Conversation, Inside Llewyn Davis, Midnight Cowboy, Minority Report, Moonstruck, Mulholland Drive, The Prestige and Smokey and the Bandit. Plus, a couple of new movies (one a TV movie) are releasing, The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial and Pet Sematary: Bloodline.
Best TV show on Paramount Plus in October: Frasier (October 12)
Frasier has re-entered the building, as Kelsey Grammer returns to his iconic character Frasier Crane nearly 20 years after the original run of Frasier came to an end. In this all new iteration, Frasier moves to Boston where he hopes to spend more time with his son and face new challenges both professionally and personally.
Other TV shows to keep an eye out for on Paramount Plus this month include new CBS game shows Lotería Loca and Raid the Cage and the new Showtime series Fellow Travelers.
Best live sport on Paramount Plus in Ocotber: Megan Rapinoe’s last match (October 6)
A soccer legend is taking the field for the last time, as Megan Rapinoe is set to retire. Paramount Plus will have a live stream of her final game, a NWSL match between the OL Reign and the Washington Spirit.
