If you’re looking to make a little extra money in the new year (because, let’s be honest… who isn’t?), then this little Papa John’s opportunity might be just what you’re looking for.
The takeaway company is looking for someone eat its pizzas and get paid for it. And people say there’s no such thing as a dream job?!
But, before we go any further, we have to tell you about the little catch: you have to be vegan.
Papa John’s is looking to add more non-dairy, meat-free and plant-based dishes to the menu next year, so it’s hiring a part-time assistant to help create new vegan dishes, test existing ones and help the company expand the menu.
If you’re interested in the role of chief vegan officer, you'll need to dedicate eight to 10 hours a month between January and June 2020 to the job. But you’ll get paid £6,000 for your time. And you’ll be eating a fair amount of lovely pizza, so…
The job description says the company is specifically interested in candidates who “frequently use #Vegan” on social media. It also says that Papa John’s is looking for a person who can “remove an avocado stone in under 60 seconds” and more importantly, be able to “back themselves in a veganism debate with Piers Morgan.”
Ideally, you will also have a background in food technology or a food science degree or similar.
If this all sounds good to you, then be sure to apply by emailing your CV and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org before 8 November.
