Paddy McGuinness claims Prince Harry gave him a kiss during party

Paddy McGuinness has claimed Prince Harry gave him "a smacker on the lips" following a dance-off at a 2016 party.

In his new autobiography My Lifey, the Top Gear host recalled how he was invited by comedian Jack Whitehall to meet the British royal at Jak's bar in London before the Soccer Aid charity football match in June 2016.

According to Paddy, on their boozy night out, Harry took his shirt off and asked the presenter if he could take him to Fernando's, the fictional holiday location for couples on his dating show Take Me Out.

"To say we were dancing close was an understatement - our chests were touching. He asked me again if I could send him to Fernando's," he writes in the book, reports The Sun. "He then proceeded to take my shirt off. So now I'm topless, a bottle of beer in each hand, dancing with Prince Harry."

Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher and Brazil football stars Ronaldinho and Cafu apparently encouraged the dance-off, while One Direction stars Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, as well as former England manager Sam Allardyce, looked on in disbelief.

Paddy went on to recall that Harry "disappeared" shortly after their dance-off and returned with Jagerbombs, which they downed before hitting the dancefloor again.

"We finished dancing and while everyone was cheering, we embraced and he gave me a smacker on the lips," he wrote, adding that Harry left the club soon after and everyone agreed that the royal was an "absolute legend".

Harry began dating actress Meghan Markle the following month and they went on to marry in May 2018.
