As you may have seen on social media over the weekend Donald Trump held a rally in Tulsa which failed to attract the numbers he had bragged about on Twitter in the lead up to the event, and P!nk spent her weekend ruthlessly roasting Trump on Twitter for the failed rally.
Over the weekend President Trump held a rally at the Tulsa’s Bank of Oklahoma Center, where he struggled to fill the 19,000 capacity arena, despite tweeting earlier in the week that almost a million people had requested tickets. There were even several pictures showing an almost empty 'overflow' area, which was reportedly scrapped quickly after people failed to show.
Watching the rally on TV from her home, singer P!nk recorded herself watching the coverage roasting Trump for the poor turnout.
"I think I sold that same place out in five minutes #donkeyshow," she tweeted alongside the video, in which she jokes, "I don’t know, there’s a lot of people dressed as seats. Maybe they’re all in catering."
She then responded to a person theorising that the coronavirus pandemic played a part in the rally's poor attendance, saying, "Here’s my theory; don’t hurt the people that love you. I would never ask people to come to an arena right now. No good person would."
That is quite the roasting.
