Strictly Come Dancing favourite Oti Mabuse shared a hilarious clip on social media this morning (25 March) as it was announced she will re-join the cast of professional dancers for Strictly 2021.

In the clip, former celebrity dance partner Bill Bailey surprised Oti by blasting music by Metallica and joined in with his own rendition on a set of horns. The pair laugh as they jump around and clap to the music, in a very different style to what is usually seen on the dancing show.

Alongside the video, Oti thanked Bill Bailey for “allowing [her] to share [her] heart every single week” and said it was the “friendships, the surprises, the journeys, the tears and the laughs” which made Strictly for her.

Oti also extended her thanks to fans and followers and said, “the comments both good and bad have helped make me become the pro I am today” and that she hopes to “continue making [them] and [her] family proud.”

Her post follows the announcement of Strictly's return for 2021 and the cast which would be back, although we are still waiting to find out who the celebrity pairings will be.

Oti said she couldn’t “wait to see what 2021 has to bring” for the new series. Last year, Bill Bailey became an unexpected favourite with the fun and energetic routines he performed with Oti.

Fellow professional dancer Karen Hauer commented on the video posted by Oti saying, “My inspiration. I love you. See you on the dance floor,” with other comments of support from famous fans, including Gaby Roslin and GBBO’s Candice Brown, plus Strictly judge and Oti’s sister Motsi Mabuse.
