Strictly Come Dancing 2020 champion Oti Mabuse is one of our favourite dancers on the show.
This year, the 29-year-old took home the Glitterball Trophy with her partner Kelvin Fletcher after the two impressed the judges and audiences week after week on the show.
Fans are also used to seeing the South African dancer as a judge on BBC series the Greatest Dancer and her sister Most is the newest judge on the Strictly panel.
But who is Oti’s husband? The dancer keeps her personal life quiet private and only occasionally posts about her beau on social media.
Who is Oti Mabuse’s husband?
Oti Mabuse is married to Marius Iepure, a 37-year-old dancer from Romania.
They met in Germany during a dance trial and are professional dance partners having competed in several dance competitions together, even winning gold at the German National Show Dance Championships.
They also came second place at the World Latin Championships.
Marius proposed in 2014 and they got married the same year, when Oti was just 23-years-old.
Speaking about the proposal on Instagram in 2017, Oti wrote: “Three years ago today this wonderful CRAZY man was annoying the life out of me because he was acting nervous (and yes I let him know I was annoyed) but it was only because he was nervous as he was GOING TO PROPOSE.”
Oti and Marius do not have any children, but they have openly spoken about how they would one day like to start a family.
"We’re not looking for babies right now but eventually, once I’ve settled and we have everything that we want, we’ll definitely have them," said Oti.
“My sister just had a baby and I can see it doesn’t hold you back. If anything, it’s opened up a new world for her.”
She added to OK! magazine last year: "I’ll be the soft parent, because Marius has very strict views on kids being healthy and how much TV they should watch."
Marius performed on Strictly in the group numbers in 2017, but he has never landed a pro dancer role on the BBC show.
During the couple's appearance on Your Face Or Mine in February 2019, host Jimmy Carr joked to Marius: “Would you go on Strictly? Would you like to be one of the professional dancers on Strictly? Or do you think it would be awkward being in the same room as the man who's having an affair with your wife?”
Oti laughed off the question, telling viewers: “No, my husband, he shows each and every single partner I have a warning. So they kind of stay away…”
