Oscars 2021 nominations: Best actor and Best Supporting Actor
The 2021 Oscar nominations have been announced this afternoon (Monday, March 15th) by Priyankra Chopra and Nick Jonas, including the categories for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor.
Our Best Actor predictions included Riz Ahmed for Sound of Metal, Anthony Hopkins for The Father and Tahar Rahim The Mauritanian for Best Actor; and Judas and the Black Messiah's Daniel Kaluuya, and Sacha Baron Cohen for The Trial of the Chicago 7 for supporting actor.
Meanwhile, Best Actress nominees include Mank's Amanda Seyfried, Pieces of a Woman's Vanessa Kirby, Nomadland's Frances McDormand, The Father's Olivia Colman, and Andra Day for The United States vs. Billie Holiday.
An in-person Oscars ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 25th.
