Oscars 2018: Jennifer Garner reaction shot goes viral

Jennifer Garner may have unintentionally won the night at the 2018 Oscars.

The "Love, Simon" actress stepped out for the 90th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday night in a stunning cobalt blue Versace gown that won her rave reviews from style critics, but it was a cutaway shot of Garner during the actual telecast that dominated the conversation.

While applauding in the audience along with the rest of the star-studded crowd, Garner was shown on camera staring off into the distance when she suddenly stopped clapping and seemed to have some sort of epiphany.

"What realization did Jennifer Garner just come to?" writer Bobby Finger asked on Twitter.

"That Michael Keaton was the best Batman," one user responded, referencing ex Ben Affleck's turn as Batman.

"When you’re having a good time and realize you forgot to thaw the chicken for your mama," ESPN personality Jemele Hill tweeted.

The clip of Garner in the audience quickly went viral on social media, racking up millions of views overnight, but she has yet to respond to the moment on her own social media accounts.
