How Are We Only Just Finding Out That Angel Delight Can Be Turned Into A Creme Brûlée?
Angel Delight is one of our favourite childhood treats. Whether it’s strawberry, banana or butterscotch Angel Delight – we love a great big bowl of the stuff.
Sure. It’s perfect the way it is. But after seeing this TikTok video, we are wildly excited at the prospect of taking our Angel Delight up a gear.
TikToker @sugarpusher recently shared a video where she turned her Angel Delight into a creme brûlée. Yup – you heard. She’s given Angel Delight a fancy-pants makeover and we’re here for it, quite frankly.
In the video, @sugarpusher aka Ally, makes her banana Angel Delight like usual. She then pours the creamy mixture into two ceramic dishes and pops them in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Once the pudding is suitably chilled, she sprinkles caster sugar on top and uses a blow torch to caramelise the sugar, which gives it a nice hard crust. Et voila: you’ve got yourself a banana flavoured creme brûlée!

Iceland has just announced that it is launching Angel Delight ice cream tubs.
The new soft serve-style ice cream has been inspired by the famous airy texture of the original nostalgic dessert, which was first sold back in 1967.
This tasty frozen treat is available in strawberry and butterscotch flavour, and an 800ml tub meant for sharing (we’ll see…) will set you back £3.
