Anthony Rapp
The ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ actor lost his civil lawsuit against 'Seven' star Kevin Spacey, who he accused of sexually assaulting him when he was just 14. Rapp claimed that during a party at Spacey’s Manhattan apartment in 1986, a then 26-year-old Spacey made unwanted advances towards Rapp by climbing on top of him.©BANG Showbiz - 3/11
Brendan Fraser
'The Whale' star claimed he was once groped by Philip Berk, the former president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, back in 2003. Fraser refused to attend the Golden Globe Awards last year over the allegations as the HFPA is the organisation that stages the ceremony. In a detailed account, he recalled: "His left hand reaches around grabs my a** cheek, and one of his fingers touches me... and he starts moving it around. I felt ill. I felt like a little kid. Terry Crews
Back in 2019, the ‘White Chicks’ star spoke candidly about his own experience of sexual assault on Twitter. Crews claimed that in 2016 he was inappropriately groped by William Morris Agency executive Adam Venit whilst at a function. He wrote: "But [he] never really explained why he did what he did. "I decided not [to] take it further becuz [sic] I didn't want [to be] ostracized — par [for] the course when the predator has power [and] influence. I let it go. James Van Der Beek
After the #MeToo Movement gained momentum, it inspired ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actor James Van Der Beek to come forward with his own account of sexual harassment in Hollywood. He said: "What Weinstein is being accused of is criminal. "What he's admitted to is unacceptable - in any industry. I applaud everybody speaking out.” James detailed how he had his “a** grabbed by older, powerful men, I've had them corner me in inappropriate sexual conversations when I was much younger. Matthew McConaughey
In 2020, McConaughey released his memoir ‘Greenlights’ where he gave a harrowing account of disturbing incidents that occurred in his past. The Oscar winner recalled being blackmailed into having sex with a woman when he was 15 years old and at 18 being beaten to a pump and molested by a man at the back of a van. Joshua Bassett
The ‘High School Musical’ star is still processing the sexual abuse he experienced as a child. Bassett revealed he was routinely abused by a much older man since the age of five. He said: "I was 5, so f*** if I knew what's going on. "And this person was of course, [saying] 'You can't tell anybody,' and so I'm thinking, you know, if I tell on him I'm gonna be in trouble. "And then when I was about 13 or 14, this much older guy, who was one of my close friends started… grooming me and it started becoming something else. "When you're able to see the version of you from the outside that was being abused, then you're able to see that that person, that human being, didn't deserve that.”©BANG Showbiz - 8/11
Bobby Brown
The RnB legend opened up about his troubled childhood and revealed he had been molested by a Catholic priest when he was 10. The abuse began after Bobby was put in temporary custody after his mother had been arrested. Brown says the trauma he endured as a kid is the reason why he turned to alcohol and drugs as a way to self-medicate the pain. He said: “One of the priests tried to molest me. He tried to touch my private parts... At that time, I was a young boy. I didn't know what sexual boundaries were. I just knew I didn't like being touched. The retired champion boxed has been coming to terms with his childhood traumas after revealing he as raped by a 35 year old woman in Hawaii when he was just 13. He said: “Thirteen, lost my virginity over being, you know, being raped, basically. “I was in Hawaii, I think, at some tournament. She was over 35." Oscar said he struggled for decades to accept what happened and used boxing as a way of dealing with his demons. He added: "You suppress everything. “You're living this life, the Golden Boy, but, oh s***, wait, that's still there. “Like I never, like, thought about it, I never processed it, I never really thought how my feelings are… until one day it just comes out, and you don't know how to deal with it.”©BANG Showbiz - 10/11
Tyler Perry
The actor, director, producer and writer - who is best known for the ‘Madea’ franchise that’s grossed more than $600million in total – was extensively abused as a child. Not only was Perry physically abused by his father, he suffered sexual abuse throughout his childhood which he dubbed “a living hell”. The child star was catapulted to fame playing Bill in 1989’s ‘Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure’ alongside Keanu Reeves. It wasn’t until 2017 that the actor felt brave enough to speak out against the abuse he endured as a young teen. The abuse took a toll on Alex who was at the height of his career and had to quit acting as a result of the PTSD he endured. He said: “I had extreme PTSD for many, many years, and that will wreak havoc on you.
