One person injured after car flips onto its roof in A419 crash
A CAR was flipped onto its roof during an incident involving two other vehicles on the A419.
The crash happened at around 5.15pm on Sunday, and at the time the dual-carriageway had been reduced to a single lane by traffic cones as roadworks had been taking place over the weekend.
Wiltshire Police responded immediately, and the following day a spokesperson confirmed that no one had been seriously hurt.
They said: “At around 5.15pm yesterday (September 24) we responded to a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the A419 at Blunsdon Hill, where one vehicle has flipped onto its roof.
“One driver suffered minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment."
The spokesperson also confirmed that no-one had been arrested at the scene.
National Highways South West has been completing work to replace bridge parapets and structural repairs on the southbound carriageway from the Lady Lane junction to the A420 White Hart Roundabout.
This work started at 8pm on Friday, September 22 and continued until 6am on Monday, September 25.
