One 98p product to tackle grout stains declared 'amazing' by cleaners
Cleaning gurus are jumping on an affordable product to help keep tile grout looking pristine.
The material's porousness makes it particularly susceptible to absorbing liquids and stains from shampoo and soap residue, leading to unsightly mould.
Cleaning your bathroom regularly is the best way to ensure that your grout remains spotless over a long period of time. But one savvy cleaner has shared a fail-safe method of treating grout that takes just 20 minutes and relies on an affordable spray product, the Daily Express reports.

Taking to the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips and Tricks Facebook group, Linda Scott wrote: “Before and after using this amazing stuff on grout! Absolutely amazing results!”
The excited cleaner gushed: “I have never found anything to clean the grout as quickly and nothing works better than this stuff.”
Linda explained that Stardrops Mould and Mildew Remover had bowled her over thanks to the ease with which it blitzed tough stains.
She wrote: “Doesn’t even need scrubbing, left for 20 minutes and then went around the grout wiping and it legit wiped the mould and dirt clean off! Had to share.”
To support her glowing review, the cleaner shared before-and-after images showing blackened grout returned to its original grey hue.
Other group members were quick to ask where the spray is stocked, to try and replicate the impressive transformation in their own bathrooms.
Linda replied: “I ordered it from Warrior Warehouse for 98p but they sell it cheap in B&M and Home Bargains too.”
For cleaning enthusiasts who prefer avoiding harsher chemicals, experts from Victorian Plumbing recommend using baking soda to combat grime.
They advised: “A great trick here is to mix some baking soda with a little water in a bowl as these products will combine to form a paste which when worked into the grout with a toothbrush. This mixture will easily cut through the dirt without causing any damage.”
After adding the paste to the grout, allow the solution to sit for around 30 minutes. Following this, simply rinse off with clean water and mop up any residue with a microfibre cloth.
While this natural method yields impressive results, it does require a lot of elbow grease, especially if the grout is heavily stained.
