Although working out is the last thing we want to do when we’re riding the crimson wave, it does make us feel better inside and out. It can boost our self esteem while we’re at our lowest, and many believe that exercise can relieve cramps too.
The only other problem is that, well, gym memberships are expensive, so many of us can’t pay a visit to one in the first place. So how can we force ourselves to overcome those cramps and costs and get our running shoes on?
Well, thanks to a new offer from Always and Tesco, anyone on their period can get a one-hour gym session for free.
All you need to do is buy a promotional pack of Always Ultra pads with a ‘FREE sports activity’ sticker on the front.
Then you enter the code on the Always website, and choose your hour of sport from more than 300 gyms and venues across the UK. A variety of sports are available, from yoga and tennis to dance or a good-old-fashioned gym session.
There’s one catch, though - you need to be over 18 to take part.
Pretty neat, huh? The offer’s running until the 30th September, so you have a full month to hunt a pack down, but you have an entire year to redeem your free session.
