Olympiacos host Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday as the Premier League club seek to all but confirm their progress to the next stage of Europe’s elite tournament.

City were comfortable 3-0 winners over the Greek team in the reverse fixture at the beginning of November, with Joao Cancelo, Gabriel Jesus and Ferran Torres scoring in Manchester.

With Pep Guardiola’s side faultless in the competition thus far this term, they should be confident of a similar result to their last one against Pedro Martins’ team and reaching 12 points from 12 in Group C – likely sealing their spot in the last 16.

Here’s everything you need to know before the Champions League fixture in Greece.

Prediction

Since City played Olympiacos at the start of the month, Guardiola’s side have drawn one – versus Liverpool – and lost one – against Tottenham. A brief break from the Premier League, against opposition that didn’t cause much trouble last time out, might just be exactly what City need. Expect them to respond positively here. Olympiacos 0-2 Man City.
