What with the whole pandemic and all, we'd forgotten the joys of waking up to a load of pictures of celebrities looking ridiculously hot on the red carpet.

Thankfully, not only is the Met Gala back tomorrow, but the MTV Video Music Awards took place last night and the guest list was top tier.

Everyone from Megan Fox to Billie Eilish was there, even Kourtney and Travis made an appearance.

Singer Olivia Rodrigo was also there wearing a stunning pink and red ombre Versace dress and with a hairstyle that gave off some serious Kim Kardashian vibes.

It's a combination of the back-skimming length, combined with the loose wave and tucked ear, but of course Olivia made it her own with a pair of statement pink butterfly earrings.

Very Y2K.

Clayton Hawkins was behind Olivia's beautiful hairstyle, that somehow managed to look effortless and glamorous all at the same time.

Molly Greenwald meanwhile was on makeup and opted for a wash of shimmering pink on Olivia's lids to compliment the shades in her dress.

Thankfully Molly also shared the eyeshadow palette she used: Byredo's Syren, which consists of 5 punchy shades.

We might not have a red carpet to walk, or an award to collect, but you can be sure we're adding that palette to our basket as we speak.

In our defence, if we hadn't seen it on Olivia we probably still would have bought it because have you seen that iconic gold hammered packaging.
