Olivia Colman has once again become a regular in our living rooms over the past few months, as we escape into The Crown season four and her mesmerising portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II.

Now, Women's Health US has taken a deep dive into her skincare routine away from the cameras – and there's one high street beauty line that features heavily.

True to her British roots, her make-up artist, Sarah Uslan, says the actress is a big fan of Boots' No.7 range. So much so, that Uslan used the entire line (from the moisturiser to the serum, foundation and make-up) to get Colman Oscars-ready earlier this year, as she attested on Instagram:

'Olivia’s look was inspired by her gorgeous Stella McCartney dress,' Uslan told New Beauty. She added that the No7 products used throughout 'are not only beautiful, but also accessible and affordable'. In fact, there's currently 25% off across the range so they're more affordable than ever.

Uslan's golden rule is ensuring that Colman's skin is well prepped before applying any make-up. 'With the right skincare prep, a bright lip or smoky eye will look even better,' she told New Beauty. 'For Olivia, I used the No7 Early Defence Regimen, from the serum to the moisturiser.'

When it came to Colman's make-up, Uslan used Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced All-In-One Foundation as her base.

Usually £17.50, the creamy formula – which promises to even out skin tone, blur fine lines and pores for an instantly flawless finish 'that gets better over time' thanks to the brand's patented anti-wrinkle peptide technology – is just £13 right now.

Oh and if you love Colman's lipstick as much we do, it's No.7's Moisture Drench in Pink Hint which is just £7.50 in the sale.
