Older Millenials, Gen X, And Baby Boomers — What's A Style From Your Past You're Secretly Hoping Becomes Fashionable Again

This year, there was a major resurgence of capri pants — a trend from my childhood that I really thought would never come back.

I shouldn't be surprised though since fashion is cyclical, and if you keep something in your closet long enough, there's a good chance it'll be back in style before you know it.

But as someone who overdid it on capri pants as a kid, I definitely won't be participating in this trend. But it got me thinking, if I could choose a style from my past to make a resurgence, what would it be? And I gotta say, I genuinely miss the bubblegum pink lipstick/dark cat-eye trend of the early 2010s.

But I want to hear from you! If you're an older adult — I'm talking older Millennial, Gen X, Baby Boomer, or above — I want to know if there's a certain trend, style, or piece of clothing from your past that you'd love to see come back.

Maybe you were a teen in the '70s or '80s and for whatever reason, you missed out on the big suspenders trend. And you're longing for a day when you can try out the style.

Or perhaps you used to wear a Newsboy hat everywhere you went because Donna Summer used to wear one, and you've been waiting patiently for it to come back into style.

Or maybe you're a guy who grew up wearing crop tops in the '80s or '90s and when they came back into favor over the past few years — but mostly for women — you were extremely jealous. And now you're just waiting for the day when you can pull yours out again.

Whatever style from your past that you think should come back, I want to hear about it. In the comments below, name a fashion trend (clothing, hair, makeup, etc.) that you'd love to see back in the mainstream. If you want to remain anonymous, you can submit your response using this Google form.

Note: I'm a big proponent of wearing what you like, not what's in style. Trends are a social construct and mean absolutely nothing. Fashion is subjective, and this is just for fun. People can wear whatever they want or feel comfortable in at any time!!!
