Buckle up, Friends fans! Your Central Perk crew could be reuniting on screen soon for an HBO Max special. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the six core stars - Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and Matthew Perry - are in talks to team up again with the NBC show's creators, David Crane and Marta Kauffman.

"There's interest all the way around, and yet we can't seem to quite get that interest all aligned to push the button on it, so today unfortunately it's still a maybe," chief content officer Kevin Reilly said about the special at the TV Critics Association press tour on Wednesday.

The deal is still in its beginning phases, and there are plenty of details that need to be ironed out. That said, wouldn't it be "kick you in the crotch, spit on your neck" fantastic? The former costars clearly have a lot of love for each other still - as evidenced by Aniston's first Instagram and her recent reunion with Kudrow and Cox - so seeing them share the screen again would be a nostalgic gift. Aniston, for her part, has confirmed she would be involved in a potential reunion. In fact, she previously told Ellen DeGeneres that she and the cast are "working on something." Hmm . . . I wonder what that could be?
