We’re obsessed with this mum-to-be posting her Glastonbury experience at 8 1/2 months pregnant
With every! single! person! seemingly at Glastonbury Festival right now (except us, wah 😭), it's no wonder that our TikTok feeds are full of Glasto goodness. But, amidst the epic performances and envy-inducing fezzie outfits, one TikToker in particular really caught our eye – a heavily pregnant mum-to-be documenting her Glasto experience.
Yep, whilst many expectant parents find themselves spending more and more time horizontal on the sofa as their due date nears, one mum decided that resting can wait. After all, with Glastonbury returning for the first time since 2019, we wouldn't let a baby bump stop us from attending either.
Taking to TikTok the mum-to-be, who goes by the username @girlbossadventure, shared a clip of her and her husband's Glastonbury set up. "I’m gonna give you all an honest review of what it’s like camping here 8 1/2 months pregnant, and let you know how it goes…" she wrote in the caption of her first Glasto clip, which has since racked up nearly 250k views.
Following the success of her first post, the TikToker went on to share several other clips of her time at Glasto, including one of her husband rubbing her feet after a long day festivaling. In another, she's relaxing on a chair and soaking up the atmosphere. "Just chilling in my chair, watching some a little band, happy as Larry at Glastonbury," she said in the caption.
But, as much fun as the mum-to-be seems to be having, her decision to go to a festival at such a late stage in her pregnancy received a mixed reaction from other TikTokers. "I think I would have just stayed at home," one person commented on her post, to which she replied: "Believe me, I was very much considering it! But we got our tickets three years ago and have always wanted to come."
Other people raised concerns that she might give birth whilst there, with one former fezzie worker commenting, "Oh please don't. When I worked the IOW [Isle of Wight] festival I had to deliver a baby." Similarly, someone else wrote, "Family friend was the first (and I believe only) person to give birth at Glastonbury. Don’t be the second lol!"
On the flip side, plenty of others praised the mum-to-be for having fun. "Wow! Be careful, enjoy and soak it all up," said one TikToker, with another person putting: "Love this! Have the best time."
Erm, we'll be keeping our eyes firmly on TikTok to see if another Glasto baby makes an appearance...
